- Describe the problemTap the symptoms you notice and any fault codes from a scan tool. The guide ranks the likely causes.
- Follow the teardownStep through the job. The engine highlights the current part and marks its bolts and clips.
Before you pick up a wrench
- These guides are not factory procedures. They show what comes off and in what order. Check a factory repair manual for torque values and one-time-use parts.
- The 3D engines are stand-in models. Parts are in roughly the right places, and bolt markers show count, not exact position.
- Work safely. Support the car on stands, let the engine cool, and relieve fuel pressure before opening a fuel line.
